Drosera aff. paradoxa

Drosera aff. paradoxa

{Mount Bomford, Kimberley, Australia}

The “aff.” in the name of this plant stands for “affine”, which is Latin for “connected with”. It means that this plant is related to the species Drosera paradoxa, but it’s not quite the same. Petiolaris complex sundews vary a lot from one population to another, so it is not always possible to categorize them in one of the currently described species. It will most likely be given its own species in the future by taxonomists.

As these plants need constant high temperatures, it is extremely recommended to include a Heat Pack in your order during cold weather.
